Manobadhikar O Samaj Unnayan Sangstha (MOSUS) is a non-political, non-profit organization established in 1995.
It is an advocacy organization and a platform for a nationwide campaigning movement dedicated to protecting the human rights of people in Bangladesh. In particular, MOSUS works for marginalized people in Bangladesh, including children, women, and minorities. We stand with victims and activists to prevent discrimination, uphold political freedom, conduct election observations, protect people from inhuman treatment, and bring offenders to justice.
We are committed to advancing human rights, monitoring elections, providing legal support, combating discrimination, and fostering environmental conservation. Guided by global and national human rights standards, MOSUS works to build a fair, inclusive, and sustainable Bangladesh.

What We Do?
Manobadikar O Samaj Unnayan Sangstha- MOSUS – has undertaken several development programs for improving the socio-economic situation in the program area of poor and marginalized sections in the country. The major program initiatives of MOSUS are as follows.
Human Rights Preservation
We work to protect the fundamental rights of marginalized communities, women, children, and minorities. MOSUS investigates violations, supports victims, and advocates for justice to ensure dignity and equality for all.
Policy Research & Development
Through in-depth research and analysis, MOSUS provides insights to guide effective policies. We promote evidence-based decision-making that strengthens governance, safeguards human rights, and fosters inclusive social development.
Geopolitical Observation
Our organization observes political and electoral processes to promote transparency, accountability, and fairness. We monitor governance trends and engage in advocacy to uphold democratic values in Bangladesh.
Social Protection & Development
MOSUS works to improve the lives of unprivileged groups by ensuring access to social safety, welfare, and development opportunities. We focus on protecting workers, supporting women and children, and empowering communities.
Humanitarian Aid
MOSUS provides emergency relief and long-term rehabilitation support to communities affected by disasters, conflicts, and crises. From distributing essential supplies to rebuilding lives and livelihoods, we stand beside vulnerable populations to restore hope, dignity, and resilience.
Environmental Conservation
MOSUS promotes sustainable living by addressing issues related to land, water, and air. We run tree plantation drives, awareness campaigns, and eco-friendly projects to protect the environment for future generations.
Leadership & Training
We equip individuals and communities with leadership skills and capacity-building training. Our programs empower people to become active agents of change in promoting human rights, democracy, and sustainable development.
On going Program
Mosus is working to expand its Revolving Loan Fund (FLF) scheme. The expansion of the revolving loan fund will help not only to overcome the financial constraint of the group members involved in various employments and income-generating activities, but also help mobilize the available local resources in their favor. Mosus has been implementing this program in rural as well as in urban communities.
